The Department has started in the year 1998 with the sole aim of providing facility for Management studies in higher education to the wards of families in an around Mayiladuthurai, whose major profession was farming The BBA., degree course was started in the year 1998. The M.B.A. degree course was started in the Engineering college of this sister institution.

OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT

To attain the vision through mission, the department has the following multiple objectives viz.,
Periodical updating of Syllabus, improvement of the teaching methodology and student counseling.

Student support services such as offering remedial classes.
To have tie -up arrangements with the external sources to improve the practical knowledge of the students for advancement of job opportunities.

Enabling the teaching staff to update their skill and knowledge gained through Workshops, Seminars etc.,
