ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The College is one among the leading Institutions imparting quality Computer education from 1984. The College offers several Computer Science courses both at UG and PG levels. The teaching methodology adopted comprises class room / practical sessions, seminars and guest lectures. With well qualified faculty, extensive computing facilities and a full-fledged library, the department imparts quality education. The main aim of these programmes is to educate the students to rise up the growing demands for computer professionals in the dynamic IT industry.

COURSES OFFERED

  1. B. Sc - Computer Science - (Day & Evening Colleges)

    2. Eligibility:  A Pass in +2 with Maths, Physics, Chemistry Group or Computer Science, Maths, Physics 

  2. B.C.A - Computer Application (Evening Section)

    3. Eligibility:  A Pass in +2 with Mathematics as a Paper

  3. M.Sc - Computer Science (Evening Section)

    4. Eligibility:  Graduate in Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Techonology

OBJECTIVES: -   To educate the students to meet out the growing demands for Computer Professionals in the dynamic IT industry

INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES

    ØThe department has separate Computer science Block having 15,000 square feet area (approx.  cost - Rs 1.5 crores) which include a state-of-art Computer Center.

    Ø The Department provides hands-on experience to students in Computer operations, Programming and Project development.

    Ø Internet Browsing facility is available to all staff members and students with free of cost.

    Ø There are four Computer Science Lab having 214 Systems with all the necessary Programming Software, Application Development Tools, and Utility Software.

    Ø A school campus agreement has been signed with Microsoft to use all Microsoft Products.

    Ø The infrastructure facilities are updated regularly to meet the growing challenges in the fields of Computer Science.

    ØLCD Projector / OHP / UPS / Scanner / Dot Matrix & Laser Printers / Xerox Facility.
